British 1907 Silver Competition Award Medallion Marsh Gymnasium

an interesting item. silver hallmarked approx 1.6" by 1.25" for 3rd Class in an event approx 7 years before the start of WW1. May be worth some research. I assumed it was from Newark but have been unable to verify as there were a number of establishments with similar names accross the UK.
