Victorian India General Service Silver Medal 1895 Excavated Plated Bronze

a dug up Indian Army medal. full size approx. 1.35" diameter. with detached Relief of Chitral 1895 bar. reasonable condition considering. flowing script naming. just about readable to S & T Corps nb the medal main part and bar both appear to be bronze underneath a thick silver plate which has started to lift etc.  read more

German Ex SS Luftwaffe Ceramic Canteen Bowl 1939

a good lightly used large serving bowl. white ceramic approx. 8.3" by 8.5" by 2.6". Marked Bauscher Weiden 1939. For some reason its original SS Reich logo has been overglazed and a Luftwaffe emblem added to the top. presumably either the maker did it to fill a contract or the Air force nicked it. unusual. The logo underneath is very subdued but can be seen in certain lights.  read more
