British Army Notts and Derby Cap Badge - Sweetheart Brooch

not sure exactly what this is. an enlisted pattern kings crown cap badge which has been gilded to resemble an officer pattern badge. the slider fitting has been removed and replaced with a brooch pin fitting. could be either a sweetheart brooch or even used as a side cap badge.
gilt tone is more yellowy than the pictures suggest.  read more

British Army Colonels Battle Dress Tunic Top

a 1959 dated khaki BD top. reasonable size. rank pips for full Colonel and patches for War Department controlled troops. nb not opposite facing but probably as worn. Queens crown post 1952 pattern. wood and plastic buttons. reasonable overall condition. some of the red backing colour has ruun onto the white bits of the pips. the label has been washed out apart from the date stamp.  read more
